Childhood is a time full of discoveries and emotional challenges. Young children use different mechanisms to express and navigate uncomfortable emotions, which can sometimes be difficult for parents, educators, and early childhood professionals to interpret.
This workshop, led by Valérie Leclerc, TRA, aims to help participants better understand these defense mechanisms and provide concrete tools to support children in their emotional development with care and empathy. Through an approach focused on listening and responding to children's needs, participants will leave with practical strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
This workshop is made possible through funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada, as part of the national Healthy Early Childhood project by Société Santé en français.
This workshop will be conducted in French only.
