Café de Paris – Spring 2025 Session

“Café de Paris” workshops are French conversation workshops designed for professionals working in the health and social services sector who wish to improve their spoken fluency and comprehension in French.

New this spring: Two levels are offered simultaneously – Beginner and Intermediate – to better meet everyone’s needs.

📍 Online and in person
Every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MNT)
→ In person at the Collège Nordique, in Fort Simpson (Beginner) and Hay River (Intermediate) rooms
→ Online via Zoom*, in two separate breakout rooms
Each participant selects the level that best suits their needs and can switch rooms or groups at any time.

These free workshops, inspired by real-life scenarios in the healthcare field, aim to:
✔️ Build or strengthen French language skills
✔️ Improve interactions with Francophone patients
✔️ Access practical tools and resources to enhance service quality

Take part in welcoming, authentic, and practical conversations to:
✔️ Better understand patient needs
✔️ Strengthen the patient-caregiver relationship
✔️ Participate in discussions grounded in real-life professional contexts

How to attend the online sessions?
Please register at least 24 hours in advance by clicking the registration button on this page. Once registered, you will receive a unique Zoom link that grants access to all Thursday workshops.

Missed a workshop?
No worries – each session is independent and tailored to participants’ needs. You are welcome to join whenever it suits you!
