  • recognize the main manifestations of learning disabilities;
  • identify caring teaching interventions;
  • implement strategies for managing emotions through play;
  • support the social and emotional development of children aged 0 to 6.

Is the course recognized?

At the end of each module, an assessment will enable you to demonstrate your understanding of the units presented. A pass rate of 60% for each of the two modules is required for recognition of a Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

Course structure

Course content is divided into two modules:

  • the first module focuses on learning disabilities, covering dysphasia, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.
  • the second module focuses on emotions, covering fundamental emotions, affective development in children, social-emotional learning, self-regulation and the emotive-rational approach.

Each module comprises units with texts and interactive activities. At the end of each unit, you'll have the opportunity to assess your understanding of the content presented.
