Cognitive development workshop: language and emotional development in toddlers. (In French only)

This workshop is designed for French-speaking early childhood educators, parents and guardians.

Offered online or in person at Collège Nordique and in French, this workshop is led by our expert Audréane Bertrand-Danjou, Ph.D. R/I. She explores the interconnection between language and the emotional development of children aged 0 to 6. The aim of this workshop is to provide practical tools and strategies for supporting young children in expressing and regulating their emotions through language.

During the workshop you will :

  1. Understand the key stages in the development of language and emotions in young children.
  2. Explore the links between language and children's ability to express and manage their emotions.
  3. Discover practical tools for encouraging emotional expression through language.
  4. Learn how to strengthen the skills of adults working in the early childhood sector in supporting children in complex emotional situations.
